Parking Near the Feis Venue
Theres always the option to look for free street parking, on side streets in vicinity of the venue itself. This includes some circling around/patience.. but weekend mornings can be sometimes be a bit better than weekdays.
2. Meter Street Parking: you can pay on the street if metered, two ways: either directly, using a bank or credit card in the meter kiosk on the street, then display your ticket on dashboard --or do all through the Park NYC app (you have to create a simple profile with your car's details/payment info) and then select or enter the "zone"area you are parked in.
-----another way to stretch a timed parking area longer, is to pay on the street with the kiosk- display the paper ticket and then use the ParkNYC app to add additional time, right before your time is up (remember to note your parking zone numbers to select or enter on the app).
3. Parking Garages: there are a few garages in the area, you can find these options on google maps and sometimes you can find a parking deal by use of an app such as "spothero" or similar, prior to the event.
---The nearest garage to our event space is located: 310 East 11th Street.
